External Sales Representative – Plastic Piping Solutions

About the role
Proplastics, a leading manufacturer of high‑quality plastic piping solutions, is seeking motivated External Sales Representatives to expand its market presence. In this role you will act as the primary point of contact for customers, promoting our products and driving revenue growth across the region.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in planning and implementing weekly sales activities.
- Liaise with production and sales teams on product lead times and customer requirements.
- Compile and update product price lists.
- Conduct telesales, make sales calls and attend to walk‑in customers.
- Prepare quotations and deliver product presentations.
- Monitor customer accounts and follow up on payments.
- Process customer sales transactions.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Maintain an accurate and updated customer database.
Required profile
- A degree in Irrigation and Water or Agricultural Engineering.
- Proven experience in external sales or business development.
- Strong negotiation, communication and customer relationship skills.
- Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Good presentation and report writing skills.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and meet targets.
- Clean Class 4 driver’s licence and willingness to travel frequently.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with sales systems or CRM platforms.
