Biology Expert - Remote

About the role

We are seeking a remote Biology Expert to support AI development workflows by critically evaluating and enhancing biology‑related data, prompts, and content. This contract position offers the opportunity to apply deep scientific knowledge to improve the accuracy and relevance of AI training datasets.

Key responsibilities

• Critically assess and provide detailed feedback on biology‑focused data and content used in AI models.
• Create, review, and refine scientific scenarios, questions, and explanations that reflect complex real‑world biological problems.
• Collaborate with platform and engineering teams to clarify ambiguities and improve data quality, coverage, and representativeness.
• Document findings, methodologies, and rationales to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
• Participate in iterative review cycles and ongoing evaluation to enhance AI system capabilities in biology.
• Engage in knowledge‑sharing sessions with interdisciplinary experts.

Required profile

• PhD in biology or a closely related life‑science discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise in core biological principles with the ability to contextualize complex topics for diverse audiences.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with scientific data analysis, critical evaluation of research, and synthesis of intricate subject matter.
• Proven ability to work independently and deliver high‑quality outputs within defined project frameworks.
• Prior contributions to interdisciplinary scientific or technology‑focused projects (AI exposure is a plus).
• Keen attention to detail and a passion for scientific rigor.
