About the role
The Site Administrator / Clerk of Works supports daily operations on construction sites in Zimbabwe. When a site is active, the role is based on‑site, and when no work is underway, the employee works from the Chinhoyi office, maintaining continuous communication between the field team and headquarters.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and submit daily site reports documenting progress, delays and issues.
- Record site activities, attendance, machinery usage and deliveries.
- Prepare, track and follow up on requisitions for materials, tools, fuel and equipment.
- Verify delivery notes against requisitions and maintain accurate site files.
- Assist the Construction Manager and Site Manager with documentation and filing of site instructions.
- Take site photographs and attach them to reports as required.
- Report shortages, breakdowns, risks and any other site concerns promptly.
Required profile
- Relevant qualification in administration, construction, project management, quantity surveying, engineering or building studies (advantage).
- Experience as a site administrator, clerk of works, site clerk or construction administrator (advantage).
- Ability to work on‑site, travel between locations and communicate effectively with site teams.
- Reliability, discipline and capacity to work under pressure.
Required skills
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to prepare clear, concise reports and maintain accurate records.
