Finance Manager

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a Finance Manager to lead professional accounting work, including compilation, consolidation and analysis of financial data. The role will ensure robust accounting processes, accurate reporting and support strategic business planning.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee monthly consolidated reporting and subsidiary financial statement reviews.
• Maintain general ledger accuracy, control accounts and reconciliations.
• Provide expert advice on IFRS and accounting policy to senior management.
• Prepare board reports and drive implementation of the financial reporting framework.
• Analyse variances, produce management reports and support business planning.
• Develop and maintain a strong internal control environment.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, bookkeeping and fixed‑asset accounting.
• Proven ability to produce accurate financial statements and trial balances.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
