Territory Manager – Retail Operations

About the role

The Territory Manager is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of retail service stations, ensuring they meet quality, safety, profitability and compliance standards. This role combines field visits, training, financial monitoring and commercial development to drive performance across the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular station visits, document observations in the Retail call report book and Salsa Dynamics, and implement corrective action plans.
• Ensure each station achieves minimum Top Service scores, reviewing performance with dealers and driving improvements.
• Identify training needs and deliver on‑site training covering HSSE, HACCP, product knowledge, compliance and commercial development.
• Monitor contractual compliance, insurance, due diligence and statutory obligations for all dealers.
• Track financial profitability, reconcile monthly accounts, and manage P&L forecasts versus actual results.
• Prepare and circulate monthly reports on financials, stock control, safety inspections, compliance and risk assessments.
• Coordinate product deliveries with CSC and depot teams, manage stock levels and prevent stock‑outs.
• Drive commercial growth in fuels, lubricants, solar and shop sales, and develop card penetration rates.

Required skills

• Salsa Dynamics system usage for reporting and action‑plan tracking.
• DSSR (Digital Station Service Report) for stock and loss management.
