Sales Consultant

About the role

The Sales Consultant will be the front‑line contact for guests seeking travel experiences with Heritage Expeditions Africa at the Victoria Falls branch. You will manage bookings, drive sales through phone and digital channels, and nurture client relationships to support the company’s tourism offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Process direct, telephone and email bookings and allocate them to the appropriate activity.
• Conduct daily telesales calls and promote offers via social‑media platforms.
• Gather market intelligence to inform sales strategies.
• Follow up on deposits, payments and cancellations, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Handle online reservations and maintain a clean, up‑to‑date customer database.
• Build and sustain profitable relationships with clients and respond to walk‑in enquiries.

Required profile

• Degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management, Tourism and Leisure Management, or an equivalent field.
• Diploma in Sales and Marketing is an advantage.
• Strong sales orientation with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
• Effective communication abilities.
• High level of computer literacy.
