Warehouse Manager – Mbare, Harare

About the role

Etero Metal is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to take full ownership of its Mbare warehouse in Harare. You will oversee all inbound and outbound activities, ensure inventory integrity, and drive a high‑performing team in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end warehouse operations including receiving, weighing, categorising, storage and dispatch.
• Enforce zero‑tolerance standards for stock discrepancies; conduct unannounced stock revisions and anti‑theft controls.
• Supervise a team of 10+ staff, handling daily task allocation, performance management and coaching.
• Oversee daily cash and material balances, close books accurately and sign off on operational reports.
• Maintain precise records of client transactions, material movements and inventory.
• Report KPIs, variances, risks and opportunities directly to the General Manager.
• Represent Etero Metal in client meetings, negotiate pricing within defined limits and gather market intelligence.

Required profile

• Valid Class 4 driver’s licence.
• Minimum 5 years experience in operations, warehouse management or field procurement.
• Proven track record managing teams of five or more.
• Strong numeracy and comfort with cash balances, stock reconciliation and variance analysis.
• Ability to work independently, push back on issues and balance firmness with goodwill.
