Vehicle Tracking & Technical Support Technician

About the role

Hydaleye is seeking a Vehicle Tracking & Technical Support Technician to join its growing team. You will work directly with customers to install, configure, and maintain intelligent GPS tracking, telematics, and fleet management solutions for a variety of vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain GPS vehicle tracking systems.
• Install and support remote engine cut‑off systems.
• Install dashcams, fuel monitoring systems, speed governors, and vehicle alarm systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle electrical and telematics systems.
• Provide technical support and high‑quality after‑sales service to customers.
• Assist with customer demonstrations and recommend appropriate tracking and fleet management solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 O‑Level passes, including English, Mathematics, and Science.
• Certificate, diploma, or trade qualification in Automotive Electrical Engineering, Auto Electronics, Motor Mechanics, or a related field.
• Proven experience installing vehicle tracking and telematics systems.
• Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems and wiring diagrams.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence is an advantage.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
