Supply Chain Specialist

About the role

The Supply Chain Specialist at Job Connect will oversee end‑to‑end supply chain activities on a full‑time, on‑site basis in Harare. You will ensure inventory levels are optimised, orders are processed efficiently, and vendor relationships are maintained to support seamless operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and monitor inventory levels, analysing demand trends and lead times.
• Process orders, coordinate with vendors and internal teams, and manage stock replenishment.
• Track performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and maintain accurate supply‑chain records.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support smooth logistics and operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply chain or operations roles, preferably in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong analytical and operations management abilities.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business or a related field (preferred).
• Ability to work on‑site in Harare and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Experience using inventory management software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
