Storeman

About the role

The Storeman will be based in the Finance Department of the Victoria Falls Rainbow Hotel, supporting daily operations by managing inventory, ensuring stock availability, and maintaining accurate records in line with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage stock levels and reorder points to prevent shortages.
• Conduct regular stock counts and assist with full stock takes.
• Initiate purchase requests to guide the purchasing team on required quantities.
• Issue stock strictly according to approved requisitions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date bin cards and stock records.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, hygiene standards, and company policies.
• Inspect stocks for quality, fitness for purpose, and expiry dates.
• Control stock to avoid unnecessary expiries.

Required profile

• National Diploma in Purchasing and Supply.
• Knowledge of materials control.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in procurement and stores.
• Attention to detail, honesty, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Assertive personality with unquestionable integrity.
