Sales Specialist – Heavy Equipment

About the role

Zoomlion is seeking motivated Sales Specialists to join its Heavy Equipment division in Zimbabwe. You will represent a global leader in machinery manufacturing, promoting agriculture, construction and mining equipment to a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Meet monthly sales targets and achieve pipeline and collections goals.
• Prospect, qualify and generate new leads for product lines across business units.
• Contact prospective clients through calls and visits to promote company products and services.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
• Maintain and update activities in the CRM system.
• Monitor competitors, new products and market conditions to understand customer needs.
• Prepare and submit weekly reports to the line manager.
• Participate in trade shows, exhibitions and industry events.

Required profile

• Minimum matric / grade 12; tertiary education is an advantage.
• At least 2 years of sales experience in the heavy equipment industry (mobile crane, tower crane, concrete equipment, excavator, dump trucks).
• Technical aptitude for understanding machinery specifications and applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to excellent customer service.
• Own a reliable vehicle, laptop and cellphone.

Required skills

• Sales experience in heavy equipment or related sectors.
• Knowledge of construction, mining or agricultural machinery.
