Quantity Surveyor Internship Trainee

About the role

This internship offers a hands‑on introduction to quantity surveying within a construction environment. You will work under supervision to support the project team in managing cost data, tender documentation, and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with filing, document preparation, and record‑keeping for project and financial data.
• Capture and update bills of quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and budget records.
• Support the preparation of tender documents and compile data for bid analysis.
• Help prepare interim valuations and payment certificates for contractors.
• Contribute to cash‑flow tracking and draft simple financial summaries.
• Provide administrative support during meetings with consultants, contractors, and project teams.
• Ensure documentation complies with procurement procedures and contract conditions.

Required profile

• Enrolled in or recently graduated from a construction‑related programme (e.g., Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple documents accurately.
• Good organisational and communication skills for interacting with project stakeholders.
