Marketing Manager – Platform Growth

About the role

Job Connect is seeking a full‑time Marketing Manager to lead data‑driven marketing initiatives that raise platform awareness, attract job seekers, and support employer acquisition. The role is on‑site in Bulawayo Province and focuses on both digital and offline channels.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and optimise digital and offline marketing campaigns.
• Coordinate content creation, guiding copywriters and visual designers.
• Oversee social media and email marketing activities.
• Analyse performance metrics and generate actionable insights.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.
• Manage marketing budgets, timelines, and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategy.

Required profile

• Strong background in marketing strategy development, campaign planning, and brand positioning.
• Experience with digital marketing channels, including social media, email, and online advertising.
• Ability to interpret data and produce actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience in recruitment, HR‑tech, or online platforms is a plus.
• Comfortable working on‑site in Bulawayo and familiar with local market dynamics.
