About the role

Tailored Bytes is seeking a Marketing and Business Development Intern to join its Harare office. This full‑time, hybrid position offers hands‑on experience in technology‑focused marketing and business development, supporting the company’s diverse portfolio of IT, infrastructure, and renewable‑energy solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support market research initiatives and analyse industry trends.
• Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Identify new business opportunities across the company’s solution areas.
• Conduct sales outreach, lead generation, and follow‑up communication with prospects and existing clients.
• Create marketing collateral and maintain digital channels such as social media and the company website.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and a positive client experience.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to analyse market data, segment audiences, and support campaign planning.
• Sales aptitude, including lead generation and relationship‑building.
• Comfortable using basic digital tools and eager to learn new technologies.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time‑management abilities.
• Relevant coursework or experience in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fields; current students or recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Interest in technology, IT infrastructure, or renewable‑energy sectors and a collaborative mindset.
