Junior Radiographer – Diagnostic Imaging

About the role

The Junior Radiographer will join a clinical imaging team to deliver high‑quality, patient‑focused radiography services. This position supports diagnostic imaging activities while ensuring safety and comfort for patients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform radiography examinations within the defined scope of practice.
• Provide compassionate care and comfort to patients throughout each examination.
• Maintain cleanliness and superficial upkeep of X‑ray equipment and accessories.
• Execute safety procedures and calibrate equipment as required.
• Report any equipment breakdowns or malfunctions promptly to senior radiography staff.
• Adhere to local policies, radiation protection standards, and safety protocols.
• Complete clinical and administrative records accurately and on time.

Required profile

• BSc or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography.
• Minimum of one year post‑graduate experience in radiography.
• Registered with the AHPCZ and holding a valid practising certificate.

Required skills

• Operation of X‑ray imaging equipment.
• Radiation safety and protection procedures.
• Equipment calibration and basic maintenance.
