Inventory Controller

About the role

The Inventory Controller will oversee stock management for food, beverage and general store items at Avani Victoria Falls Resort. This role ensures that inventory levels are maintained efficiently to support seamless operations across all departments.

Key responsibilities

• Collect stock reports from all outlets and prepare a combined report for food, beverage and general store items.
• Coordinate with Operating Managers to maintain par stock levels for efficient department functioning.
• Review inventory par levels and ensure stocks are kept at appropriate quantities.
• Establish an efficient system for receiving, checking, recording, controlling and issuing stock.
• Supervise monthly stock takes and conduct regular stock audits.
• Oversee the receiving and store functions, performing stock audits as needed.
• Prepare regular food and beverage cost reports.
• Perform food over‑reporting, review findings and discuss with the Chef.
• Control officer checks allowance and manage consignment stock movements.
• Handle related duties and special projects as assigned.
