Internship Program – Various Pathways in Equine Services

About the role

Equestrian Bridges offers a flexible, 3‑month internship program that provides hands‑on experience across equine‑assisted services, nonprofit operations, marketing, funding, and land development. Interns work directly with horses, staff, and community partners while gaining exposure to real‑world projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with horse care, stable management, and therapeutic riding lesson support.
• Create social‑media content, update the website, and develop visual branding materials.
• Support front‑office tasks, donor relationship building, and policy documentation.
• Research grant opportunities, track funding deadlines, and help prepare applications.
• Participate in land and facility development projects, including paddock planning and sustainability initiatives.

Required profile

• Students or recent graduates in equine science, veterinary studies, animal science, marketing, communications, nonprofit management, business, grant writing, agriculture, construction management, or environmental studies.
• Passion for community impact and willingness to learn across multiple functional areas.
