Hardware & Network Support Specialist

About the role

The Hardware & Network Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production applications and underlying infrastructure. You will design, implement, and maintain resilient solutions while providing day‑to‑day support to engineers and end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, develop, document and enforce system standards across the environment.
• Design and implement new solutions, improve resilience, and optimise network performance in collaboration with network architects.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, schedule upgrades and manage capacity.
• Investigate faults in local and wide‑area networks, and enforce security policies.
• Report operational status, manage projects, and upgrade equipment to the latest releases.
• Provide remote support to on‑site/off‑site engineers and customers.
• Maintain inventory, configure user workstations and manage AWS infrastructure and integrations.
• Deliver disaster‑recovery capabilities for critical platforms and applications.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Computer Science (BCoSc) or Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology Management.
• Proven experience in infrastructure management, network optimisation and disaster recovery.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a collaborative mindset.
