GitHub Contributor (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced software contributor to provide high-quality code samples, debugging strategies and development insights for a range of modern programming languages. The role is fully remote and contract-based, supporting AI training data and open-source projects.

Key responsibilities

• Write expert-level code examples and debugging guides in Python 3, Java, Rust, Go, C++ or TypeScript.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve complex defects and performance bottlenecks across diverse codebases.
• Design and implement robust new features with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
• Refactor legacy code to improve clarity, efficiency and long-term reliability.
• Document technical reasoning, solution approaches and code decisions for AI training data quality.
• Review and validate peer-contributed code and technical submissions for accuracy and clarity.

Required profile

• Significant hands-on expertise in at least one of the listed languages.
• Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures and software engineering principles.
• Proven ability to debug complex systems and deliver effective optimisations.
• Experience modernising large codebases and legacy systems.
• Strong written communication skills for clear technical documentation.
• Interest in AI challenges (previous AI experience not required).
