About the role
Rainbow Tourism Group is seeking an experienced Driver & Tour Guide to join Heritage Expeditions Africa. You will be responsible for safely transporting guests and delivering engaging cultural tours across Zimbabwe’s key attractions.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and organise tours based on guests’ interests.
- Provide guest transfers and ensure safety on and off board.
- Act as a cultural ambassador, introducing tourists to historical monuments, botanical gardens, museums, art galleries and other points of interest.
- Deliver informative commentary and interesting facts to enhance the visitor experience.
- Maintain company vehicles in clean and serviceable condition.
- Promote the company to potential customers.
Required profile
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar driver/tour‑guide role.
- Tour guiding certificate.
- Clean Class 1/2 driver’s licence with a retest.
- PSV‑compliant licence for Class 2 holders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with Zimbabwe’s popular tourist sites is an advantage.
Required skills
- Valid Class 1/2 driver’s licence.
- PSV‑compliant licence (Class 2).
- Tour guiding certification.
