About the role

Join the engineering team at Avani Victoria Falls Resort as a Carpenter, responsible for maintaining the resort’s facilities and ensuring a safe, functional environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Complete tasks on the preventive maintenance schedule as defined in hotel plans.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area after each task.
• Care for and properly store all tools provided by the hotel.
• Follow all safety procedures while performing duties.
• Communicate effectively with the Shift Leader throughout the shift.
• Participate in the hotel’s energy‑conservation programs and suggest cost‑saving ideas.
• Use or recommend environmentally‑friendly products where applicable.

Required profile

• Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Good communication with team members, especially the Shift Leader.
• Willingness to contribute to energy‑saving and cost‑reduction initiatives.
