Branch Manager – Quick Service Restaurant

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Branch Manager to run a Hungry Lion outlet in Mashwede Glen, Zimbabwe. You will be fully responsible for people, product and profit, ensuring the store operates smoothly and meets performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of a Hungry Lion branch, including people, product and performance.
• Create and manage staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage.
• Order stock, receive deliveries and monitor inventory to prevent shortages or waste.
• Count, reconcile and bank cash each day, maintaining accurate cash balances.
• Achieve targets for speed, quality and waste without direct supervision.
• Handle customer issues directly and set service standards for the team.

Required profile

• O‑Levels or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience managing a team in a quick‑service restaurant or fast‑food environment.
• Proven track record in cash handling, daily banking and till reconciliation.
• Hands‑on experience with stock control and inventory management.
• Demonstrated ability to build and adjust staff rosters based on floor demand.
• Firm but fair leadership style, comfortable working weekends, evenings and public holidays.
• Reliable transportation to the store.
