Accountant & Administrator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant & Administrator to manage our financial transactions and support office operations. The role combines core accounting duties with administrative responsibilities such as filing, mail handling and uniform management for security staff.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including invoices, receipts, payroll and ledgers.
• Assist in creating and managing budgets for operations, equipment and personnel.
• Process payroll for security personnel and administrative staff on time.
• Generate client invoices for security services and track payments.
• Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with ZIMRA and Zimbabwe tax regulations.
• Organise financial documents for internal or external audits and support auditors.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Analyse service‑delivery costs (uniforms, transportation, equipment) and recommend cost‑saving measures.
• Monitor cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial health.
• Ensure financial practices comply with company policy, legal standards and implement internal controls.
• Manage document filing, coordinate mail movement, handle correspondence follow‑ups and monitor security staff uniform status.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional certification (CPA, CA or ACCA) is an advantage.
• Proven accounting experience, preferably in the security industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations and tax laws.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented and able to work independently to meet deadlines.
