Account Manager – Higher Education Partner Portfolio

About the role

The Account Manager will manage a portfolio of partner agents across Southern and Central Africa, driving student enrolment and revenue for Study Group’s higher‑education programmes. You will act as the primary liaison between agents, university partners and internal sales teams to ensure growth and market expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales account plans and pipelines for applicant generation and conversion.
• Recruit, onboard and train new agents while maintaining strong relationships with existing partners.
• Collaborate with product, sales and marketing teams to identify market trends and recruitment opportunities.
• Monitor competitor activity and provide market insights for product development.
• Coordinate university partner visits, market research and scholarship budget control.

Required profile

• Native speaker of the local language and fluent in English.
• Customer‑service oriented with a consultative sales approach.
• Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
• Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM platforms.
• Proficiency in data‑analysis tools such as Power BI.
• Familiarity with B2B/channel sales and student recruitment in the local market.
