Tractor Driver

About the role

The Tractor Driver will work full‑time on‑site in Harare, operating tractors and related agricultural machinery to support farming, construction and mining activities. The role requires safe, efficient equipment handling and collaboration with supervisors and team members.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tractors and ancillary equipment for daily use, performing routine checks and basic maintenance.
• Operate tractors for plowing, planting, harvesting and material transport across farm or work sites.
• Follow work plans, safety procedures and regulatory standards while driving and performing field tasks.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods, and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Conduct basic equipment inspections and support routine upkeep.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating tractors or farm machinery in field conditions.
• Knowledge of safety standards for agricultural and transport operations.
• Physical ability to work outdoors for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
• Reliability, attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
