Territory Manager

About the role

The Territory Manager is responsible for overseeing a network of retail stations within a defined geographic area. This role ensures stations meet quality, service, training, contractual, and financial standards while driving profitability and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Document all station visits in the Retail call report book and Salsa Dynamics, obtaining dealer sign‑off and creating action plans for identified gaps.
• Implement and monitor Top Service standards, ensuring each station achieves minimum performance scores.
• Identify training needs and coordinate on‑site and centralized training programs covering HSSE, HACCP, product knowledge, compliance, and more.
• Drive adoption and accurate usage of Salsa Dynamics for logging station data, activity tracking, and KPI reporting.
• Maintain valid contractual and legal frameworks for each dealer, including insurance, due diligence, and economic sanctions compliance.
• Track and improve financial profitability of stations, perform monthly account reconciliations, and manage P&L forecasts.
• Prepare and circulate monthly reports covering financials, stock control, safety inspections, compliance checks, and risk assessments.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing retail or fuel station networks.
• Strong understanding of contractual compliance, insurance, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to analyse financial statements, P&L and implement corrective actions.
• Excellent communication skills for training dealers and reporting to senior management.
