Staff Development Fellow – Computer Science (Zvishane)

About the role

The Staff Development Fellow will support teaching and research activities within the Computer Science department at Midlands State University. This position is designed for a recent graduate who will also pursue a Master's degree while contributing to student learning and development.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver tutorials, workshops, and supplementary learning materials.
• Assist in teaching undergraduate Computer Science courses under faculty guidance.
• Collaborate with lecturers to develop assessment tools and provide feedback to students.
• Participate in research projects and support faculty research activities.
• Engage in the university’s staff development programmes to enhance teaching skills.

Required profile

• BSc Honours in Computer Science or Computer Systems Engineering with at least a 2.1 classification.
• Must enroll in a Master's programme in Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence or Cybersecurity and complete it within five years.
