Site Leader – Fuel Station Operations (Harare)

About the role

The Site Leader will manage daily operations at a fuel service station in Harare, ensuring excellent customer service, accurate transaction processing, and strict compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise pump attendants and general hands, providing coaching and performance monitoring.
• Oversee daily fuel sales, coupon and fuel‑card redemption, and ensure accurate processing of all transactions.
• Conduct cash and fuel reconciliations each day and report any variances promptly.
• Manage banking activities, including cash deposits and reconciliation with sales records.
• Monitor stock levels, coordinate fuel deliveries, and ensure proper handling and storage.
• Enforce health, safety and environmental regulations at the station.
• Prepare operational reports, highlight variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Implement strong controls to safeguard cash, fuel and consumables.

Required profile

• Diploma in Marketing, Sales, Business Studies, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in Marketing or Sales, preferably within petroleum service stations, FMCG or related industries.
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities with a proven track record of managing frontline staff.
• Solid understanding of cash management, reconciliations and banking procedures.
• High integrity, accountability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
