Senior Travel Consultant

About the role

Rouxgold Travel is looking for an experienced Senior Travel Consultant to own the full booking lifecycle, from the first enquiry through ticketing and any subsequent changes, while maintaining technical accuracy and composure under pressure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage bookings from initial enquiry to ticket issuance and handle all post‑booking modifications.
• Apply sound technical judgment and attention to detail to resolve issues quickly and effectively.

Required profile

• At least five years’ hands‑on experience in a travel agency or airline reservations and ticketing role.
• Strong Amadeus proficiency, including reservations, fare searches, pricing, PNR management and ticket issuance.
• Proven experience with fare recalculation, ticket changes, exchanges, reissues and refunds, with a solid understanding of airline fare rules.
• Fluent spoken and written English, able to communicate professionally with clients and airlines.
• A demonstrated ability to respond promptly, verify details thoroughly and take responsibility for issue resolution.
• A relevant IATA or travel industry qualification.
