Safari Guide – Victoria Falls

About the role

The Safari Guide leads guests on memorable game drives and safari experiences at Anantara Stanley & Livingstone Victoria Falls Hotel, ensuring safety, satisfaction and adherence to park standards. The role combines frontline guest interaction with vehicle maintenance, environmental stewardship and collaboration with the guide team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead safari activities and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Be available for all game drives and stand‑by duties as directed.
• Follow procedures for the operation of the guides and Safari department.
• Perform guide functions in accordance with National Parks and Wildlife Management standards.
• Report all guest complaints to the Head Guide.
• Maintain full uniform and high personal hygiene while on duty.
• Keep the assigned safari vehicle clean and conduct weekly checks.
• Report any equipment defects to the Senior Guide.
• Work sustainably and follow the company’s environmental practices.
• Provide courteous, professional and flexible service to maximize guest experiences.
• Assist other departments and perform additional tasks as required by management.
• Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and other departments.
