Product Manager - InsureTech

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a Product Manager for its InsureTech offering within the OM Fintech business. The role will own the product vision, strategy, implementation and profitability, ensuring the development of market‑relevant insurance propositions and driving adoption to meet revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the InsureTech product strategy, roadmap and evolution based on market insights.
• Gather, manage and prioritize customer and market requirements, acting as the customer advocate.
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, prototypes and oversee product development.
• Develop business cases for new products or enhancements and manage the product lifecycle.
• Drive commercialization, revenue and profitability targets, including customer acquisition, retention and activity.
• Plan and execute product launches in collaboration with marketing and PR teams.
• Monitor product performance, profitability and adjust the mix and experience as needed.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of the InsureTech market, product dynamics and business constraints.
• Ability to define product vision, strategy and roadmap based on research‑driven insights.
• Experience in translating strategy into actionable requirements and managing product development timelines.
• Proven track record of driving product commercialization and achieving profitability targets.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, working closely with banking, platform and marketing teams.
