PR Sales Manager – Renewable Energy & Energy Storage

About the role

The PR Sales Manager will work on‑site in one of the assigned African markets (South Africa, Nigeria, Tanzania, Ghana or Zimbabwe) for a leading global renewable energy company. The role focuses on driving sales of energy storage and solar module products, building customer relationships and expanding market presence across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies for energy storage and solar module products in the assigned market.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities, including customers, distributors and strategic partners.
• Manage existing customer relationships and cultivate long‑term commercial partnerships.
• Achieve sales targets and deliver business plans aligned with company strategy.
• Monitor market conditions, competitor activity, regulations and customer feedback to protect business interests.
• Provide market intelligence and recommendations to support regional growth.
• Participate in exhibitions, conferences and customer meetings to promote the portfolio.
• Prepare regular sales, market development and activity reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Renewable Energy or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of overseas sales experience, with at least 2 years in energy storage, solar or photovoltaic sectors.
• Proven ability to develop new accounts, manage key customers, negotiate terms and meet sales targets.
• Strong understanding of international sales processes and market development in the assigned region.
• Fluency in English and the relevant local language; willingness to travel regularly within the market.
• Experience with Chinese‑invested or Chinese‑funded companies is a plus.
