Marketing Officer - Tender & Sales Support

About the role

A full-time Marketing Officer position in Harare, Zimbabwe, focused on running marketing activities and supporting sales through tenders and quotations. The role covers digital, direct and face-to-face marketing, and requires regular reporting on sales and marketing results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run marketing strategies, including digital, direct and face-to-face approaches
• Identify and follow up new business opportunities
• Monitor and respond to e-GP tenders and RFQs
• Prepare tender documents and quotations
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Report regularly on sales and marketing results

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Studies, Purchasing & Supply or a related field
• Proven marketing and sales experience of at least 2 years
• Experience using the Electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) platform
• Experience preparing and submitting tenders, RFQs and quotations
• Good understanding of government procurement processes
• Excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Valid driver's licence (essential)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• e-GP platform
