Marketing Assistant (Hotel)

About the role

Join Avani Victoria Falls Resort as a Marketing Assistant and help promote the hotel’s brand, products, and services. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to execute marketing campaigns, create engaging content, and support public‑relations activities that enhance guest experience and drive business results.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating and executing marketing and communication campaigns.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis and gather data to inform strategy.
• Support promotional activities, events, partnerships and brand activations.
• Create and distribute content for social media, email, website and other channels.
• Maintain the hotel’s digital presence, ensuring up‑to‑date and brand‑consistent content.
• Monitor campaign performance, prepare KPI reports and maintain marketing calendars.
• Organise marketing collateral, image libraries and other assets.
• Collaborate with designers, writers, agencies, media partners and vendors.
• Provide administrative support such as scheduling, purchase orders and invoicing.
• Help build and maintain relationships with media, influencers and industry partners.

Required profile

• Creative, organised and results‑oriented with a passion for hospitality.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
