Logistics Manager

About the role

The Logistics Manager will lead daily logistics operations in Harare, ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of goods. This full‑time, on‑site position involves coordinating supply‑chain activities, managing inventory, and supervising procurement to achieve timely and cost‑effective deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and optimise transportation routes and monitor shipment progress.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee warehouse operations.
• Coordinate procurement activities, negotiate with vendors, and control costs.
• Resolve logistical issues in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
• Track performance metrics, generate reports, and implement process improvements.
• Engage with stakeholders and customers to ensure high satisfaction and alignment with organisational goals.

Required profile

• Proven logistics and supply‑chain expertise, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organisational abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to lead, motivate teams and work effectively across departments.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Harare.

Required skills

• Proficiency with logistics or ERP software.
• Advanced use of MS Office applications.
