IT Assistant – Organizational Standards & Support

About the role

To ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of the IT environment across all member countries, Humana People to People requires a dedicated professional with deep knowledge of organisational IT standards and operations. This role is critical in maintaining compliance, safeguarding systems, and supporting both infrastructure and users.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with organisational IT standards across all member countries.
• Administer, monitor and set up servers according to standards.
• Provide end‑user support and troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Maintain and optimise the network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with IT teams in member countries to resolve technical challenges.
• Document processes, configurations and support activities for knowledge sharing.
• Implement security protocols such as encryption, firewall management and ERP system monitoring.
• Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans.
• Train project technicians in member countries to build local IT capacity.
• Manage file, application and email servers across member countries.
• Support and manage the digital teaching and learning system at teachers colleges.

Required profile

• Experience working with IT systems in at least one Humana People to People member country.
• Applicants without such experience will not be considered.
