Industrial Attachment – Procurement & Marketing

About the role

Old Mutual Zimbabwe is offering a short‑term industrial attachment for students interested in gaining practical experience in procurement and marketing. The programme is designed for learners who are currently undertaking work‑related learning and want to experience a dynamic, inclusive business environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the procurement team with supplier research, quotation analysis and purchase order preparation.
• Assist the marketing team in creating content, managing social media channels and monitoring campaign performance.
• Participate in cross‑functional meetings to understand how procurement and marketing intersect within the organisation.
• Contribute to basic data collection, reporting and documentation tasks.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a degree or diploma programme (NQF Level 2 or 3 or higher) in Marketing, Communications, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics or related fields.
• Strong desire to learn, good interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Adaptable, proactive mindset and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A school‑stamped attachment letter must be submitted with the application.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with standard office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets).
