Human Resources Generalist

About the role

We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist to provide operational HR support across a portfolio of corporate stores. Partnering with store managers and Operations, you will ensure people practices are compliant, consistent and commercially effective while serving as the primary HR contact for day‑to‑day employee matters.

Key responsibilities

• Review and sign off monthly payroll data, resolve discrepancies and support store managers with payroll queries.
• Conduct pre‑payroll audits, monitor clockings and flag irregular hours before processing.
• Compile and maintain monthly HR reports, trackers for contracts, leave, promotions and turnover, providing data‑driven insights to Operations.
• Manage employee off‑boarding, including termination checklists, exit interviews, final deductions and uniform depreciation calculations.
• Coordinate performance contract roll‑out and guide managers through performance reviews and under‑performance coaching.
• Handle employee relations cases, escalating to the ER team, attending disciplinary inquiries and ensuring fair procedures.
• Oversee employee file management, fixed‑term contract renewals and ensure audit‑ready documentation.
• Supervise and develop HR Advisors, monitoring workloads, turnaround times and weekly priorities.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of payroll processes and HR reporting.
• Experience in employee off‑boarding, performance management and employee relations.
• Ability to work closely with store managers and Operations teams.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain audit‑ready employee records.
