Food & Beverage Manager

About the role

The Food & Beverage Manager will lead the F&B operations at Avani Victoria Falls Resort, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, high quality standards, and profitable performance. You will be responsible for overseeing all restaurant, culinary, and catering areas while driving revenue and maintaining brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic and marketing plans for the F&B department.
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, cost controls and inventory.
• Analyse sales trends and launch initiatives to maximise revenue.
• Supervise daily operations of restaurants, bars, and catering services to ensure smooth, profitable service.
• Maintain high standards of product quality, service, and guest satisfaction.
• Oversee menu, beverage and wine list pricing and coordinate with local suppliers.
• Conduct regular maintenance inspections and ensure proper care of facilities.
• Collaborate with HR on recruitment, training, performance appraisals and staff development.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing food and beverage operations in a hotel or resort setting.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent understanding of budgeting, cost control and revenue optimisation.
• Ability to analyse market trends and adapt offerings accordingly.
