Estate Facilities, Design and Operations Manager

About the role

WestProp Holdings is seeking an Estate Facilities, Design & Operations Manager to join its Harare team. This role goes beyond traditional facilities management, requiring collaboration with development, construction and property management teams to design, implement and operate estate assets at world‑class standards.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with development, construction and property management teams to shape estate design and long‑term operation.
• Lead contractor and service‑provider management, ensuring quality delivery and compliance.
• Oversee budgeting, preventive maintenance programmes and asset lifecycle planning.
• Drive continuous improvement in customer experience and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Practical, technically capable leader with experience in facilities management, engineering, construction or property development.
• Strong leadership, technical understanding and ability to enforce health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Hands‑on problem‑solver with a forward‑thinking approach to operational challenges.

Required skills

• Building systems management and preventive maintenance.
• Asset management and landscaping service coordination.
• Supervising technical teams, workload scheduling and performance monitoring.
• Vendor coordination and contract oversight.
• Health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Budgeting, cost control and basic financial tracking.
• Use of maintenance management software or digital tracking tools.
