About the role
Oxfam is seeking a Climate and Economic Justice Technical and Partnership Coordinator to provide hands‑on technical leadership and strengthen partner collaboration across its climate and economic justice programmes. The role will ensure interventions are strategically designed, technically sound, and delivered in line with Oxfam’s mission to end poverty and injustice.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical support for climate adaptation, resilience, livelihoods, environmental governance, economic justice and inequality reduction.
- Apply systems‑thinking approaches to address structural drivers of vulnerability and exclusion.
- Strengthen technical quality across programme design, implementation and adaptive management.
- Maintain strategic relationships with partner organisations, support their programme design and delivery, and facilitate communication between partners, country teams and regional structures.
- Coordinate and implement restricted projects, ensuring alignment with donor commitments, technical standards and strategic objectives.
- Integrate robust MEAL systems into programme implementation and contribute to research, learning frameworks and outcome documentation.
- Prepare donor reports and ensure compliance with accountability requirements.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Gender Studies, Development Studies, Social Sciences or a related field.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in climate justice, economic justice, livelihoods, environmental governance, or partner‑led programme implementation.
- Proven experience in multi‑country or regional systems, partner coordination, programme quality assurance and technical advisory roles.

- Technical expertise in climate adaptation, resilience, livelihoods, environmental governance and economic justice.
- Experience with systems‑thinking and integration of climate and economic justice principles.
- Strong capacity‑building, evidence‑generation and compliance skills.
