Chef – Fine Dining at Seraphic Bistro

About the role

Ezulwini Villa Hotel is looking for an experienced Chef to lead the culinary team at Seraphic Bistro, delivering high‑quality dishes and memorable dining experiences for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present high‑quality dishes with consistent taste and presentation.
• Ensure efficient, timely food preparation and service across all meal periods.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, freshness, hygiene, sanitation, and food safety.
• Manage food purchasing, inventory, portion control, and minimize waste.
• Accommodate guest dietary requirements and special requests.
• Train and support kitchen staff to uphold consistent culinary standards.
• Monitor guest feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.

Required profile

• Progressive culinary experience, including senior‑level roles.
• Proven background in a quality hotel, resort, or 5‑star restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of cost control, budgeting, procurement, inventory, and waste management.
• Deep understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and timely service.
• Leadership, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts, Professional Cookery, or equivalent.
• Membership of a recognized professional culinary association is an advantage.
