Business Development Officer – Chiredzi, Harare & ZVISHAVANE

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Officer to join our branch network in Harare, Chiredzi and ZVISHAVANE. Reporting to the Senior Business Development Officer, you will help grow Crediconnect’s loan portfolio by processing applications, disbursing funds and ensuring timely repayments.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process loan applications, assess eligibility and verify pledged security.
• Disburse loans to qualified clients and manage the ongoing loan portfolio.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad‑hoc reports on loan performance.
• Develop growth strategies that balance financial returns with customer satisfaction.
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and customer needs.
• Promote Crediconnect’s products and services, tailoring solutions to client objectives.
• Support branch administration by maintaining records of receipts, purchases and asset registers.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with new and existing customers.

Required profile

• A degree in Banking, Finance or a related field.
• Certificate in micro‑finance, risk management or credit management (advantageous).
• Minimum three years of proven experience in micro‑finance, including a similar role.
• Proficiency in MS Office and strong written and oral communication skills.
