Assistant Manager – Operations & Team Coordination

About the role

Job Connect is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily operations and team coordination at its Harare office. This full‑time, on‑site position will help ensure recruitment and client‑service processes run smoothly while fostering collaboration across internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee workflow in assigned departments and monitor performance metrics.
• Assist in managing staff schedules and coordinating communication between teams.
• Resolve operational issues promptly and professionally.
• Contribute to process‑improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with internal policies.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Support employer and job‑seeker engagement activities.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability in team coordination and people management.
• Strong organizational, time‑management and multitasking capabilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in customer or client service with a professional problem‑solving approach.
• Analytical mindset to interpret data, identify gaps and propose improvements.
• Post‑secondary qualification in Business Administration, Management, HR or related field (preferred).
