Area Manager – Southern Africa

About the role

Navitas is seeking a strategic Area Manager to lead student recruitment, market development and partnership growth across Southern Africa. Based in Harare and operating remotely, you will act as the regional expert, driving enrolment targets and expanding Navitas’ presence in Zimbabwe, South Africa and Zambia.

Key responsibilities

• Drive student recruitment and revenue growth by designing and executing regional recruitment strategies.
• Identify emerging market opportunities, monitor trends and provide insights for sustainable expansion.
• Build, train and manage relationships with education agents and recruitment partners, ensuring compliance with Navitas standards.
• Represent Navitas at fairs, school visits and industry events, acting as a brand ambassador.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
• Champion a student‑first approach, improving conversion, retention and satisfaction.
• Analyse recruitment performance, prepare reports and maintain accurate pipeline data in CRM systems.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, institutional and visa requirements.

• Proven commercial acumen and market intelligence in the international education sector.
• Strong relationship‑management and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Experience in student recruitment, agent management and business development.
• Ability to translate market insights into actionable growth strategies.
