Technical / Blue‑Collar Recruiter

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technical / Blue‑Collar Recruiter to lead end‑to‑end hiring for technical, engineering and blue‑collar positions across two regions. The role involves managing vendor relationships, coordinating trade tests and ensuring smooth candidate mobilisation, including international placements.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full 360° recruitment cycle for blue‑collar, technical and engineering roles.
• Organise and oversee technical assessments and trade tests for construction, engineering and related trades.
• Develop and maintain relationships with manpower vendors and specialised recruitment agencies.
• Collaborate with vendors during large‑scale recruitment drives and ensure compliance with local labour laws.
• Build resource databases, track industry trends and provide insights on candidate availability and skill‑set geography.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in sourcing, interview logistics and candidate mobilisation.
• Support international recruitment, including GCC‑linked hiring, and be prepared to travel regionally or internationally.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of hands‑on experience recruiting blue‑collar, technical and engineering talent.
• Proven track record in facilitating technical assessments and trade tests.
• Established network with manpower vendors and technical recruitment agencies in the target region.
• Strong knowledge of local labour legislation related to international recruitment and manpower supply.
• Regional exposure in Southern Africa with experience in building talent pools and market intelligence.
• International recruitment and mobilisation experience; GCC exposure is a plus.
• Willingness to travel regionally and internationally.
