About the role
Petropipe is seeking a Business Development / Sales Engineer to expand its market presence in the energy, petrochemical, and industrial sectors. You will identify new opportunities, manage key accounts, and drive revenue growth across assigned regions.
Key responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities and generate RFQs for the Petropipe portfolio.
- Perform market research, competitor analysis, and support business development activities.
- Promote and sell piping, valves, and instrumentation products.
- Handle customer inquiries, RFQs, and prepare techno‑commercial quotations.
- Coordinate with principals/manufacturers for technical and commercial support.
- Support trading activities, including sourcing, pricing, and supplier follow‑up.
- Negotiate orders, follow up on offers, and close sales opportunities.
- Manage logistics, shipment tracking, delivery follow‑up, and documentation.
- Conduct customer visits, maintain strong relationships, and ensure satisfaction.
- Monitor market opportunities in mining, power, and F&B industries.
- Prepare monthly visit plans, reports, RFQ lists, quotes, and order projections.
- Achieve individual annual sales targets.
Required profile
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in industrial sales/trading of mechanical and instrumentation products.
- Knowledge of pipes, valves, flanges, fittings and instrumentation items.
- Experience in logistics coordination and supplier management (preferred).
- Strong communication, negotiation and customer coordination skills.
- Ability to prepare techno‑commercial quotations and handle RFQs.
- Proficiency in MS Office and commercial documentation.
- Self‑motivated, organized and results‑driven.
