Laundry Attendant

About the role

The Laundry Attendant ensures guest and hotel laundry is processed quickly, efficiently, and to the required standards at Avani Victoria Falls Resort.

Key responsibilities

• Process guest and hotel laundry according to SOPs, keeping items clean and in good condition.
• Safely store and handle chemicals, following safety guidelines.
• Operate laundry machines in line with instructions and weight restrictions.
• Separate linen by use and colour before washing.
• Collect laundry from guest rooms promptly.
• Sort guest laundry for dry‑cleaning, pressing, or washing and forward to the appropriate section.
• Verify processed laundry before returning items to guest rooms.
• Deliver laundry to rooms while respecting “Do Not Disturb” requests.
• Provide billing details to the cashiering department before the end of the shift.
• Assist colleagues with assignments and perform other hotel duties as required.
