IT Assistant – Network, Azure & Data Protection

About the role

We are looking for an IT Assistant to join our team in Harare. The role focuses on maintaining network infrastructure, managing cloud services and ensuring data protection across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain network devices and firewall configurations to ensure optimal security and performance.
• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments to support seamless business operations.
• Implement and oversee data protection protocols to safeguard organisational information assets.
• Provide technical support and maintenance for IT infrastructure, leveraging deep knowledge of system architecture.
• Ensure all technical activities comply with relevant data protection regulations and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Five ‘O’ level passes including Mathematics and English.
• Three ‘A’ level passes.
• First class or upper second degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• A+ certification or equivalent experience.
• Valid class 4 driver’s licence.
• At least three years traceable experience with network devices, firewalls, Azure and Office 365.
• A certificate in data protection is an advantage.
