Inventory Controller

About the role

The Inventory Controller will ensure accurate stock management for all food, beverage and general store items at Avani Victoria Falls Resort. This role supports efficient operations by maintaining optimal inventory levels and providing timely cost reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Collect stock reports from all outlets/departments and prepare a combined report for food, beverage and general store items.
• Coordinate with Operating Managers to maintain par stock levels for smooth department operations.
• Review inventory par levels and ensure stocks are kept at appropriate quantities.
• Establish and manage efficient store receiving, checking, recording, and issue processes.
• Supervise monthly stock takes and conduct regular stock audits.
• Oversee the receiving and store functions, handling consignment stock and movements.
• Prepare regular food and beverage cost reports and perform food over‑reporting checks in collaboration with the Chef.
• Handle officer checks allowance and perform related duties or special projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Experience in inventory control within a hospitality or food‑and‑beverage environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with stock data.
• Good coordination skills to work with operating managers and other departments.
